  I think I've reached that point in life where I hate my job and will always hate my job

  remember when you were a kid and you saw the funny bits in shows about how someone hates their job and just goes to work to pay the bills.

  i think i've reached that point in my life.. i hate my job.. i used to love the work i do... but the way a corporation crushes your soul and leaves you as an empty husk of your former self has finally taken its toll on me.. i used to look forward to the challenges of work... now i wake up, go to work, do what i have to do to get through the day and then go home.. .

  it's totally absurd but i find myself literally fantasizing about winning the lottery so i can get my soul back..

  Why does the WTBS hate sex so much?

  now i know they try to control everything and pretty much ban anything.

  but sex seems to be somthing they can't stand and would like to get rid of completly if they could.

  so many articles and so much conusel about not having sex or having anything to do with sex from any angle at all.

  Sex is the central cause of anybody's existence and hence the most important aspect of our lives. If the WTBS can control that...

  nightmares after leaving

  hello everyone, i have been reading the different topics and haven't seen this discussed..... i was raised in the 'truth' and decided when i was 19 this was not for me...but unfortunately it took years after that to finally make the clean break.

  during that time and up until about a year ago, i was having strange and disturbing nightmares..it finally came to a head when i dreamed that i cussed out the elders in the congregation i had left.,..woke up in a sweat but felt great!

  has anyone else experienced this?

  "Youth book" said 97% of teenagers Masturbate...but none of them are Witnesses! Is this unrealistic?

  "youth" book and "young people ask" admitts that 97% boys and 92% of girls masturbate but of course none of the holy decent witness teenagers would ever do such a thing and earn jehovahs anger!

  how realistic is this?

  97% of the world have t.v's or a telephone!

  Mill Hill Disfellowshippings

  a few months ago there was a thread about a couple of elders at the mill hill bethel being disfellowshipped because they disagreed with some wt doctrine (i can't recall exactly what it was) and that several other betheliteswere under 'investigation'.

  i haven't heard anything since, does anyone know anything more about this?.

  Thanks evrybody for the warm wel come...I am a fader (a term I picked from this site).

  Even when I was active I was not the thinking type (obviously I was brought up as a JW) so I may not be able to post like most of you do.

  Post the 1994-95 xplanation of the generation I made up my mind....but family and frnds are still in.

  But certainly my life has improved a lot ...I have a good carreer...lots of money and catching up with all the goods things in life which I missed during my teens and 20's.
